I look at animal descriptions. I meditate and look inside my dreams. I answer questions. There seems no animal that I am totally connected too. I am searching for guidance and asing for help. Where is my familiar? How to know who he is?
I took the test above and the animals were scatered around. I read my book of shadows and asked for the animal to show himself. I woke up this morning saying Panther. Does that mean he is my totem?
I have been trying to find my animal totem. I always have to have a bird in my house. My favorite animal is dog but I feel a strong mystical connection with birds. As I am ridding along I see hawks. I go into a trans. Looking in the car mirror to see it once before I lose it from my sight. At the zoo I look at the hawk and I freeze. I do not know why. I am just drawn to them. Could it be my animal totem? I love dogs and help out at animal shelters, but I do not feel a real mystical bond only a friend bond with them. So they couldn’t be my animal totem? When ever I go on trips and see a horse stable, I always want to sign up. I love going to Arizona because there is a stables that I know that lets you gallop. I feel free on the horse. If I had a lot of money I would ride them every day. But its the same as the dog. There is a mostly friendship bond. Though once I felt a bigger bond. I opened my mind to them and I woke up with a single word in my mouth BLACK PANTHER. What does that mean? I remember as a child seeing one on the road but it disappeared into the shadows very fast. Could that have been my animal totem showing himself to me for the first time. I woke up today feeling safe and thinking of Panther. I do not remember my dream. I only have this one word. Does that mean he is my animal totem?

Totem animals have nothing to do with Wicca, nor do “familiars,” a term which traditionally refers to a demonic spirit taking the form of an animal as a disguise. A pet is not a familiar.
Ergo, if you’re not finding an animal that you’re connected to, stop worrying about it. There is absolutely no reason to identify such a being. As you said, there are things that resnate with each of us. Perhaps you should take your lack of success on this matter as a sign that animals in general do not resonate with you, rather than straining to find a connection that probably isn’t there.

well i for 1 no that animals do have a lot to do with wicca because wicca is a religion surondeing itself mostly by nature and there for the animal totem has a big part and i think the panther is ur totem
