Why placemat in a Chinese restaurant has 11 animals and a real dragon?
Is this the same reason all other ancient civilization has drawings, paintings, sculptures, carvings, pottery, written and other objects of dinosaurs. Is this the same reason why there are blood cells real and other flexible materials yet still soft in dinosaur fossils. Is it because dinosaurs were created by God with man and all died during the flood of Noah, except babies he has brought on board who were able to restock for a while until what finally killed or disappeared for other reasons.
This is the Chinese zodiac and has nothing to do with what you say. The dragon plays an important role in Chinese symbolism, and so it appears in the zodiac. If I remember correctly, the Buddha summoned all the world creatures, but only 12 of them responded to his call. To celebrate, he created the zodiac in the order that each individual animal was come.
