Dragon Drawing Painting

Has anyone spent drawing and painting realistically work more imagination?

I've been drawing and painting domestic animals and wildlife of my pictures (as a hobby and for family and friends), but I would like dragons and other fantastic creatures. I'm curious to see if someone has made such a transition (I know we do not have to choose one style), and did you find that you enjoy one more than the other? Thank you all for sharing your experiences! (I think I'll go too!)

Six years ago, I decided I wanted to understand the process of creating abstract painting, so I started taking classes abstract. My landscapes and representation numbers started to improve, definitely in a new capacity and freedom to set the paint. I encourage your transition from realism the fantastic.
