The Red Dragon of St. John the Divine
Perhaps the dragon who had the most influence on Westernized Christian thought is the dragon red dominates the last book of the New Testament. Back in heaven, the angels of God say about everything that happens on earth with the dragon and the beasts. Furious, God promises to punish all those who received the mark of the beast. On a cloud, the great son of the woman down, wearing a golden crown and carrying a sharp sickle in his hand. Call the angels with him, the armies God prepares to visit the earth. Seven angels appear powerful, each bearing a terrible epidemic of plague and a bottle of gold containing the wrath of God. God's army is ready to face the dragon in a final battle.
